Challenge Overview

WorldArena Challenge 2.0 is built around the next-generation WorldArena 2.0 benchmark for embodied world models. The benchmark extends the original WorldArena along three coordinated axes: modality, functionality, and platform.

WorldArena 2.0 introduces visuo-tactile evaluation, evaluates world models as online reinforcement learning environments, and expands evaluation from simulator-only settings toward simulated and real robotic platforms.

Following this benchmark direction, the challenge is organized into three competition tracks:

  • Track 1: Video Quality Evaluation - a continuation of the 1.0 video quality task with increased difficulty and new OOD scenes.
  • Track 2: World Model as RL Environment - evaluating whether world models can serve as interactive environments for reinforcement learning and policy optimization.
  • Track 3: Real-World WAM Manipulation - evaluating real-world manipulation ability across tactile WAM and vision-only WAM settings.

Tracks & Submission

Track 1

Track 1: Video Quality Evaluation

Evaluate embodied world model video generation across visual quality, motion quality, content consistency, physics adherence, 3D accuracy, and controllability.

The 2.0 version keeps the 1.0 evaluation direction while increasing task difficulty and introducing OOD scenes.

Track 2

Track 2: World Model as RL Environment

Evaluate world models as online, interactive RL environments that can support policy rollouts, reward-driven optimization, and iterative policy improvement.

This track follows the functionality extension described in the WorldArena 2.0 paper.

Track 3

Track 3: Real-World WAM Manipulation

Evaluate real-world WAM manipulation under two settings: tactile WAM and vision-only WAM.

This track focuses on real-world manipulation behavior, interface compatibility, and deployment-facing evaluation.

Tactile WAM Real-world WAM manipulation with tactile observations available to the submitted system.
Vision-only WAM Real-world WAM manipulation using visual observations only, without tactile inputs.

Submission limit: Each team may submit at most twice per day. If a team submits more than twice on the same day, the latest two submissions of that day will be used for evaluation.
